Oregon Professional Logger Standards
The
written standards and rules for the OPL program are specified in the OPL Standards
Handbook.
The terms of certification for OPL companies include the specific enrollment, qualifications,
requirements, conduct, sanctions, records, and professional conduct that define
certified OPL companies.
The Handbook guides the compliance with this voluntary standard, concerning a certified
company’s continuing education and professional conduct.
The OPL program is administered by AOL, as directed by the current edition of the
OPL Standards Handbook. Amendment of OPL Standards is subject to approval by the
AOL Board of Directors.
The Board may consider recommendations from the OPL Committee and its officers.
AOL members, or OPL Subscribers, may request a printed OPL Standards Handbook by
contacting the AOL office.
