Log a Load For Kids TM
AOL annually sponsors Log A Load For Kids in Oregon (LAL), as part of a national
fund-raising campaign for the forest products community to participate in the Children's
Miracle Network campaign (CMN). Oregon Log A Load For Kids raises funds for charitable
donation to three local CMN children's hospitals-- Doernbecher Children Hospital,
Sacred Heart Medical Center, and Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center.
Loggers, forest owners, mills and allied harvest businesses in Oregon are joining
together to support a most worthwhile cause- medical care for our children.
Here in Oregon, Associated Oregon Loggers sponsors Log A Load For Kids, part of
a national fund-raising campaign for the forest products community to participate
in the Children's Miracle Network.
The concept is that loggers and timber companies donate their share of earnings
from a load of logs, as well as other donations, events etcetera.
Log A Load For Kids nationally has become a top 15 donor to the CMN, since its 1988
origin in South Carolina. Loggers in over 25 states have state-based Log A Load

the CMN telethon.
