OR-OSHA sent out a memo on March 25th indicating that the agency’s pandemic-related guidance for workplace trainings, certifications, inspections, etc. will be rescinded effective June 15, 2022. In other words, the agency will be returning to a business-as-usual approach at that time. If you made changes to your workplace safety program as a result of the pandemic, now would be a good time to review regulatory requirements to ensure your workplace health and safety programs are up to par. You will see in the memo that OR-OSHA is offering consulting services to assist employers in making this shift.
