Insurance Programs
Safety is our number one priority.
Three entities make up what is commonly referred to as Associated Oregon Loggers (AOL). AOL Services, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of AOL. AOL Services is a for profit company set up to fund the safety and advocacy mission of the association. In 1969, AOL sought various group insurance programs to help members, whose hazardous occupation often precluded easy access to mainstream insurance products. AOL Services is a single line insurance agency specializing in Workers’ Compensation insurance for Oregon forest operator and associated companies. AOL’s sponsored insurance programs provide wider insurance availability to meet the specialized needs of our industry, while providing a group benefit that includes an opportunity for members to save money. The AOL SAIF Insurance Group offers an up-front discount to qualifying companies where our Safety Management Consultants (SMC) are agents. Workers' compensation insurance is one of three areas of insurance necessary for a successful business. We also have a relationship with Liberty Mutual which offers members, in good standing, the potential of a dividend on a portion of their insurance lines with them.
