OPL Qualification Requirements
OPL: Qualification Requirements
Sustainable and Educated

Associated Oregon Loggers ensures that Oregon's forest operators maintain compliance with landowners and regulations. Although the OPL program is voluntary, the value of becoming qualified and working in a sustainable way ensures this valuable resource is protected now and into the future.

Starting in 2023 the OPL program is getting a major overhaul. Over the 27 years of its existence, the OPL program has evolved and remained relevant and of value to ensure that operators and landowners know they can expect.

The revised OPL qualification aligns with standards of the internationally recognized standards expected by the SFI.  This is a set of standards which is recognized to ensure that all operators uphold the same standards of excellence.
