Operator Membership
An Operator is any forest business or individual engaged at in-forest operations that include, but are not limited to: harvesting, accessing, reforesting, growing, transportation, maintaining, protecting, or other in-forest operation.
Example Operator businesses: Logging, falling, timber processing, road build-maintain, planting, thinning, vegetation release, hauling, quarrying- crushing, burning, firefighting, fuel reduction, arboriculture, spraying, or other in-forest operations Operator Dues are calculated based on number of employees and are pro-rated for new members based on date joined. The AOL membership year runs from July 1 - June 30. For example, a member joining on January 1, would pay 50% of the dues rate shown below + a one-time $100 initiation fee. Owner/Operator $510 Owner + 1-5 employees $640 Owner + 6-10 employees $825 Owner + 11-25 employees $1080 Owner + 26-50 employees $1455 Owner + 51-100 employees $1815 Owner + more than 100 employees $1980 Associate Membership An Associate is any organization or individual that does not qualify as an Operator member, but supports the mission of AOL, and may offer products or services to Operator members. Example Associate businesses: Mechanics, suppliers, dealers, vendors, cleanup, equipment, lending, insurance, financial, accounting-payroll, manufacturers, forest consultant, landowners, mills, scalers, surveyors, non-profits, partners, associations, or others who support AOL. Associate Dues are calculated based on type of Associate Member and are pro-rated for new members based on date joined. The AOL membership year runs from July 1 - June 30. For example, a member joining on January 1, would pay 50% of the dues rate shown below + a one-time $100 initiation fee. Provider - Vendors/dealers $420

Honorary Membership The owner or owners of a contract logging company of regular membership qualifications may, upon disposing of the enterprise for retirement and upon approval of the executive committee, assume honorary membership classification.
