Workforce Development Manager worked with Lewis Elementary School and volunteer presenters to host a Logging Career Day for over 120 4th and 5th graders. Students and staff expressed delight with the event. Huge shout-out and Thank you to WeyCo who sent Anya Hall from Aurora Nursery & Field Foresters (Mark Baumgartner & Jess Daily), Aaron Meeuwsen (Dean Meeuwsen Trucking), Rick Zenn from OSWA, and Hilltop Aerial who all came out for a full day of talking with students about Logging and Forest Careers.
