Most Violated OR-OSHA Standard in 2022 for Forest Activities

For Forest Activities, from January 1 to September 22, emergency medical requirements were the top standards to be violated during OR-OSHA inspections. There was a total of 23 violations written, and standards relating to emergency medical requirements accounted for 14 of them – that’s 61% of all violations!

Here is a look at the top standards that were violated during inspections

1. First-Aid and CPR training – 5 violations
2. Monthly safety meetings – 3 violations
3. Minimum supplies for first-aid kits – 3 violations
4. Requirements for displaying warning signs – 3 violations
5. Development of emergency medical plan – 2 violations
6. First-Aid kits at worksite – 2 violations
7. First-Aid kit requirements for vehicles used for the transportation of personnel – 1 violation
8. Written land directions and worksite location – 1 violation

Looking at the list of top OR-OSHA standards that were violated, you can see that first aid kits, CPR training, and emergency land directions to the worksite accounted for the majority of all violations statewide (bold).
