Survey available for loggers and forest contractors Oregon's Higher Education Coordinating Commission (HECC) and Workforce and Talent Development Board (WTDB) have partnered with SRI International to develop a detailed talent assessment that will guide the state’s priorities and activities related to workforce development. The assessment includes a survey segment, which gauges employer perspectives on industry workforce gaps, perspectives on existing talent sources and workforce programs, and opportunities to strengthen the talent pipeline.
All major Oregon employers are fair game to be invited to the survey. However, the state is interested in oversampling employers connected to healthcare, information technology, semiconductor manufacturing, construction, wood products, transportation, and childcare.
