Spring is officially here, are you ready for summer? Now is a good time to get the required OR-OSHA yearly training out of the way before summer arrives.
Don’t forget to train your employees on:
Basic Wildland Fire Safety OAR 437-007-1325 - The employer and/or their authorized representative must ensure that all personnel who may be called upon to do wildland fire suppression and/or prescribed fire activities receive Basic Wildland Fire Safety Training.
Heat Illness Prevention OAR437-002-0156 – Training must be provided annually before employees begin work that should reasonably be anticipated to expose them to the risk of heat illness.
Protection from Wildfire Smoke OAR 437-002-1081 - This information and training must be provided once a year, and in a manner and language understood by employees.
AOL has these and many other trainings that are available to help you meet OR-OSHA requirements.
