Oregon’s Quarterly Fatality Report for the second quarter 2024 (4/1-6/30) is now available.. During the second quarter 2024, DCBS received notification of three fatalities accepted for workers’ compensation benefits; all three were in logging.  Of the three fatalities accepted by insurers during the second quarter, the workers died in 2024.  The Quarterly Fatality Report presents compensable fatalities grouped by industry.  The previous year’s counts are included for comparison.  Please note, the 2024 data are preliminary until the final count is released in the fall of the next year.
