This proposed rulemaking is to keep Oregon OSHA in harmony with recent changes to federal OSHA’s standards. Federal OSHA published final changes to the Hazard Communication (1910.1200) and Incorporation by Reference (1910.6) standards in the May 20, 2024, Federal Register.
In this rulemaking, Oregon OSHA proposes to adopt rules identical to the amended federal standards; and the agency proposes corresponding changes in its own Oregon administrative rules to align with their adopted amendments.
